Grief Tending
Grief Ritual
Sunday, May 21, 2-6pm. Let us tend our individual and collective grief together in sacred community.
Grief and loss are a part of life on Earth. When we don't allow ourselves to grieve, our hearts become brittle. Like a tree experiencing a parasitic beetle or fungus, fear gets under our skin. When we don't tend the roots that sustain and hold us, we become less able to withstand the storms that shake our branches. And like trees, we can't do this work alone. Most of our heart owies happened in the context of other people. Therefore the healing must also happen in presence of other benevolent beings, co-creating and held in sacred containment.
This particular ritual is called a Truth Mandala and comes from Joanna Macy's Work that Reconnects.
Songstress Gathering Retreat
Summer 2023
This gathering is welcome to all those who love Song and identify as women. Our purpose in gathering is to sing, share, and spread songs and sister love! Our hope is that at the end of the day, each woman will leave the gathering with a compilation of songs to share at her home sister circle. We invite women song-leaders and teachers, as well as women who love to sing, and love to be immersed in song. This gathering is inspired by the many women keepers and transmitters of song who share their gifts in women’s circles and other sacred gatherings. May we learn from and inspire each other to keep spreading the magic of song!
Maximum 15 participants, minimum 8 participants.
Sliding Scale $25-$150, no one turned away
